It is but be warned, its more of a workout than skiing. I was sore in muscles I forgot I had but it was so worth it.

I am sure you can put any type of seat you want. I am getting one done for myself with a semi-banana style seat on a spring load.
As for moguls I only did a few mild ones as it was my first day but its like riding motocross at the speed of gravity.
