fig tree? you mean, Fig's grow in this tree?
The large tree pythons only eat small children, the poisonous snake’s usually only bite when you step on them, or surprise them, and the giant spiders prefer to eat bird’s . As for the rest of the poisonous spiders and insects, I find Baygon Target Kill works fine. For the mosquitoes and flies etc, don’t forget the Aerogard, and make sure it’s the tropical strength.

I know they now sell Victory bikes in Aus,but the few I've seen so far have been short hop guys just riding Sunday's arvo's around the city and surounds.I hope in the future I'll see a few more doing long hauls in the outback.I still have my eye on one for down the track. My missus sometime has a hard time climbing up onto the Beemer GS when the box and panniers are fitted,it's very high and hard to thow the leg over.

If you do make it down here give yourself lot's of time to look around, the distances are huge if you want to travel between most capital cities.

Joe, loved the pics, especially the Port Douglas beach.

I'd love to do a fly - ride trip up there as well.

Just make sure you pick the right time of year Jules, this years wet was unbelievable. In one place they supposedly had seven meters of rain over the season. I was lucky,I had perfect weather all the time I was up there. The number of tourists was way down so there was plenty of accomadation and reasonably quite roads. While I was enjoying the sun, my family on the west coast had wild storms and low temps.
