Gail's new bike

I got Gail a Suzuki C90 a couple of months ago and I have had to do a few things to get it to fit her. The last thing I need to do is to get the clutch lever to engage closer to the bars. It is a stretch for her to work it. It now is almost all the way out before it takes hold. I don't see any way to adjust the cable since it is hydraulic. I checked at the motor but no luck that I can see there. Next option would be a new lever but I don't where to go. Any help out there?

You should be able to buy an adjustable after market clutch lever to fit.

Re: Gail's new bike

Remember, a closer lever will mean less travel on the hydraulic plunger. Just make sure the clutch fully dis-engages with the shorter travel length. Doubt it will be a problem, but never hurts to double check once you got it all together.

Re: Gail's new bike

I got it fixed. I am not a really pataint person when it comes to needing to get things done. As some of you know I have a machine shop here at the house so I took a look at the lever, then decided to take it apart to see what I could do. All it took as to take 0.1000 off the stop. The return spring moved the lever in closer to the bars with the same travel to be sure the clutch still has full engagement.

Thanks for those that did respond. One thing I have learned about Pashint is that there is at least 1 person out there that has already dealt with most any problem one may have.
