Re: New club for Central Valley

Welcome Steve!

Make sure to post up your upcoming scheduled rides in the 'group rides' section and post them on your homepage. Quite a few dual sport riders on this site, and likely some are local to Central California where your rides originate.

Good for you on the launch of your new site. This site started off many many moons ago as a site on geocites (remember that?!). Then it was off to the local community college to learn how to do html. Now here we are many years later!

Btw Steve, not sure your level of aptitude on web design, but just in case it's brand new to you, here's some useful info that hopefully makes sense.

Also, make sure to resize your pics your homepage to ensure a fast download with slower modem users. Just a helpful quickie suggestion.

Thank you for the support, it is a long way from remove your post dude.
I have no idea, as you can tell, how to do a website, but I believe to start is the start. I will be posting rides here and telling my buddies how helpful this site is. Thanks for the tips on my pathetic site, I remember when I started pounding nails at 19, I bent 90 % of them staight over. Good thing there was no forum for me to say hey look at my bent nails!

I wouldn't call your site pathetic, everyone has to start somewhere. It'll get better as you learn more.

Welcome to the site Steve! There are a few of us that live right up 41 in the foothills, we ride every chance we get. Be sure to post up prior to your next ride, perhaps we can show you some new roads in and around this area. I was looking at the pics from your last ride, did you guys ride Preston Road? Not street bike friendly .
