Seat Help
I could use some help with locating a couple shops here in SoCal or even a local one you might recommend.
There is a shop in Ojai that I believe does custom seats for Beemers. I'd like to contact him to see if he would be willing to rework a seat for a Japanese bike. My memory has lost his shops name! Any idea anyone? Any other shops locally that do good work? Locally being within 100 miles of LA.

I bought my seat for Long distance as the stock and one other aftermarket seat just didn't cut it. The first LD trip I did on the Bill Mayer was a 1200 mile ride followed by 4 hours of sleep ON THE SEAT and then another 500 miles and I never got uncomfortable. I'm super happy with Bill Mayer Saddles. Also, they are sponsoring the Western FJR Owners gathering in July in Park City! So they support us in more than one way

Re: Seat Help
I've heard nothing but good things about Bill Mayer seats. I want one also. I'm saving my pennies until I have the required $642 + tax!!! for the front and rear on my FJR. My wife can't go more than about 50 miles at a time on the stock rear seat.
