Think I've finally got this dialed in.

Btw, wondering how these work for ya? This is an improvement over what I was doing a year ago. Doing all the labelling, and going to a larger format map was suggestion from pashnites. Like the result. Note the Pacific Ocean in the top left corner.

Here's the four that I found in the article. As I've said before, I enjoy the "conversational" feel of your writing. It's more like listening to you tell the story, so no changes there.
Paragraph 4- change to "It's an easy ride.
Paragraph 16-change to "No switchbacks or extreme lean angles"
Paragraph 18-change to " off to an endless"
Paragraph 27- change to " I never used to"
