Re: Rowena Loop
Okay, you got my attention. I'm planning to ride up the Northwet in mid-September. Is this road between Hood River and the Dalles? I'm planning on hitting the Carson to Windy Ridge route, and this looks like a good add on before I get to Carson, maybe as an out and back kind of thing. Is that a reasonable assessment?

Re: Rowena Loop
VFR2X -- I was just up in your neck of the woods (Olympia) visiting my son and his clan (6 kids) and my other granddaughter rode up with me. No not on the back of the bike but in the truck as she didn't feel she could handle a trip like that on a bike -- 12 year olds
go figure ![]() Just returned on the 14th. Did make it up by Johnston Ridge -- The 2nd pic is my son with his wife getting the shot of him and the newest addition with Mt St Helens as the back drop. I think that is as close as I would care to get to any volcano.
