How to load a .gpx to Garmin 2610?

Here is another question from someone who is "technologically somewhat challenged"......
I've discovered a treasure trove of gps maps in various palces that have been saved in .gpx format.....How do I use them on my Garmin 2610's Mapsource software??? I have downloaded them to a CD but Mapsource doesn't seem to like them.....If you know how to do this assume I no nothing and start your explanation from there.....

Thanks...the link worked and I get following message when I try to open the file with this program from the CD I saved the file to:

"Open Error

The Open command could not be completed. The file Mapi.GPX could not be opened. This XML file contains one or more errors. Error Ox800C0006 on line 0, position 0
Reason: the system cannot locate the object specified."

I take it this file is bad or did I not format it correctly?

You might try loading the GPX format on your map program then RECALCULATE ROUTE and then save as a GDB. Then load it into you GPS.
