Tollhouse Shoot - Fresno County Motorcycle Ride
With so many sojourns at speed (or at least trying to keep up), I thought it fitting to study Old Tollhouse Road. Here's my impression.
Sorry I'm late Richard, The birthday dinner went great! A little late though, why didn't you tell me to leave sooner?? The pinapple juice suggestion really lit up the glaze!!!! Her taste buts gave me a three thumbs up! But I digress, Beginning: Watts Valley Road right where it starts to get interesting. |

Re: Tollhouse Shoot
Richard at Humphrey's Station. He's the head hash slinger there...and a rider! Great food but don't ask for a Cordon bleu sandwich during the rush,......Sheesh!
He didn't know about Pashnit. I fixed that. |

Re: Tollhouse Shoot
Right in my own backyard. I used to drive that every week. Clovis to Sample Road to Humphrey Station to Burroughs Valley to the Sycamore Indian Rancheria. Fun, fun road in a Honda Accord. Can't wait 'till I ride it.

Re: Tollhouse Shoot
Sunlight this early in the morning can do some things you can't normally do when the sun is high in the sky.
See how the camera is level at the top side of the brake rotor. And the colors! Someone once asked me how did I get my bike to be painted this golden color?! ![]() ![]() Larry - this is an awesome shot - and you're right there. This morning sun that you are shooting in can produce some great photography. Remember to follow that 'rule of 3' and shoot the Bike + Road + Sign. Put the bike on the left, sign on the right - and the road in the middle. And keep the camera lens at the level of the headlight. = the secret formula!! And don't forget about the position of the sun (ie shadows), triangulate the sun beams into your camera lens.
