Good variety of bikes on this ride... This is Steve's brand new BMW K1200S which he shipped to California from Virginia. A week of riding on California roads? We got that!

On to something completely new. Last year we rode Old Stage Rd & Mtn 50. This year, we skipped all that and made a beeline (literally) for Sugarloaf and up to 7280 ft (from sea level a few hours earlier) Portuguese Pass in the Sierra Nevada Mountains to a little known ride- Rd 23S16.
