Extreme Goldwing Lean
I, needless to say, did not take this photo but was amazed when I saw it and had to post it here.

Re: Extreme Goldwing Lean
That photo was taken at the worlds famous "Deals Gap". That "Kill Boy" dude has a great web page with the best action photos taken at Deals Gap. Believe it or not thats not unusual for that road. I know you guys out west have some of the best roads but you would just have to see this road to believe it. With out a doubt the best sport bike road in the country.

The prob with Deal's Gap, I've heard, is the car and truck traffic. Yes, semis use it to cut a few miles off their trips in the area. Not good. Check this chit out. We keep our semis on the super-slab where they belong.

I wish I could take credit for that one! ![]() Bet his pegs are a tad bit shorter and his shoes a tad shy of leather I was at Deals Gap last year during my 13,000 mile journey, certainly the greatest MC road this side of the Mississippi I've been on. Great fun even on a big bike - as you can see! But I kid you not, the gixxers were passing me on the turns (there isn't anything BUT turns at Deals Gap ), I just moved over to the right and watched 'em go!Sure brings back some good memories! Awesome pic Bassman

Last year when I was riding the Sierra passes, I kid you not, some bone-head in a semi actually tried to make it across - I think it was Carson Pass. One of the turns was tighter than his turning radius and he had the rear wheels of the trailer stuck in the ditch. Nobody could get around him - nobody except for us two-wheelers that is! Now there is one driver who did not belong in that situation. Mark |
