Re: The Wow Factor... A Sierra Nevada Motorcycle Tour

Thanks - is it Tim??

I'm picking up my 08 Wing this Friday. This will be the second wing I've owned. I really appreciate the travel offerings you have on your site and will be using them frequently for weekend jaunts.

Excellent tour. Look like you had a great time!

I did a similar ride on a Deluxe with Hubby and his VTX during that September week when it snowed on Tahoe (Street vibes weekend though I wasn't going to Street vibes). Figure there are a couple of places I missed looking at your pictures.

This year I picked up an '08 Ultra...Planning on getting myself (and the Hubby) father north and maybe a bit east. Can't wait. Planning a Rally for another group can't wait to find out more about some riding areas form this group.

Nice little tour .. Great to see all the different angles of sites I visited last summer (http://www.pashnit.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13032).

...and a special cheers to Tinker: Your bike rocks (see my avatar )!

The only cup holder I've seen was on a Wing belonging to a "good ole Bama boy" up in Alaska last summer. The cup holder held a water bottle half full of tobacco and tobacco juice. Guess it's hard to spit out of a full face helmet!

We noticed this. More Wow! And so Bob headed off a few miles down the road to get a new tire. Yes, he made it fine, although don't try this at home. Trained professional on closed course.

And it seems Steve on the FJR would be in need of a new pair of boots too. I think those are his socks.

I've NEVER seen anything like this, I think my shoe touched the ground once going around the corner.

Very nice post with a ton of informative information. I really appreciate the fact that you approach these topics from a stand point of knowledge and information
instead of the typical “I think” mentality that you see so much on the internet these days.

Curvy Road Re: The Wow Factor... A Sierra Nevada Motorcycle Tour

Hello from the Valley of the Sun,

Some of our club " The Flying Wheels" of the Sun Cities, are planning a ride over to Yosemite. We leave AZ on May 17th.

We are hoping that it won't be too early to see some of the park entering from the West.

Any input on this?

Thanks,
Mike
