Alameda All Italian Car & Motorcycle show Pics
This is a very unpretentious show put on to benefit the local Special Olympics program. Anyone bringing an italian car or bike gets in free and shows. Doesn't matter if it's a beat up moped or concourse quality Ferrari. Rode My Lemans there and had good time meeting others and talking bikes, etc. Took the long way home via Palomares and Calaveras Roads. Fun Day.

750SF Laverda...Yeah baby!
Round case Ducati twins are to die for. I hope to never see another sight glass on a Duc. They are no longer cute imo. The Guzzi scooter-motorcycle? Those things are so lovely-ugly that I sure would like one for a weekend run-about. Having a spare tire while travling in Italy when this model was current was a real deal. Gilera, a name to be respected amoungst motorcyclists. Their racing transverse fours of the '50s set the stage for all the engines of that type that followed. Thanks for the post.

yea, what OldPete said!
![]() nice pics ... looking at the scoot with the spare tire on the front looks like it would almost double as a "crash bar" ...

I love the round case GT750 Ducati. A mate of mine bought one brand new in '74. I was soo envious, though I did get to ride it quite a bit.
