What is the maintanence intervals on those things?
Do you do your or work, ie; oil changes, valve adj. and etc.? |

Valve inspection is about the same as my previous bike, '05 VFR. 17,000 If I remember right. Like most bikes, I've heard of very few who have done it that found a valve out of spec.
Final drive is a gear train and its oil (90W) needs changing every 12,000 I think. I'll just change it whenever I change the rear tire. In "Overdrive" it spins fewer RPM at 70 than my VFR or Aprilia Caponord did. Redline is only 8,500 so it's geared pretty tall. Plenty of zip though as the CVT aims the engine at around peak torque in "Normal" mode and peak HP in "Power" mode. The engine RPM goes there and the bike acelerates to match it. Pretty slick arrangment overall. |
