New Guy Got Gear!!!!
Hey Everyone!!
As some of you might know I just joined the forums and purchased a ZX-6R, I only purchased a helmet and over sized gloves from the dealer . When I rode around my neighborhood practicing stop and go, I would catch the fingertip of the glove with me thumb on the clutch and stall the bike, they were just too big.I finally decided to make the investment and get some good gear and I love it!. I went to a local bike store called "We All Ride" and they gave me some great specials I really appreciated them helping me out.I spend all my pennies on this one . So if your local check them out. They are out of Santa Cruz.www.weallride.com (the website just went down today) anyways I went in and tried on some jackets, gloves and some boots. I ended up ordering all my gear from them. Originally I was just going to get my sizes and order them online to get a better deal. But the deals they had there were great. I purchased a jacket, boots and gloves. Icon Motor-Head Jacket ~ 300.00 *White* Icon Merc Short Gloves ~ 80.00 (no special) *White* FieldSheer Positano Boots ~ 80.00 *Black* Let me know what you all think!!!!! Too funny! Good on you Wes! Have fun on that new bike of yours. The We All Ride Folks are good people, our tour group stopped there in a jam one time and they took care of us.

Re: New Guy Got Gear!!!!
Good job! Kudos on gearing up right away. Looks good too.
I'd suggest getting some leather pants as soon as you can too. The knees are very vulnerable. |

Re: New Guy Got Gear!!!!
Thanks Everyone!!! I glad I got my gear I love everything! I my arms are a little too short for my jacket but maybe I can get it tailored? is that possible? anyone know of someone thats local?
hehe yea 1911, I do have a small foot only size 9,the boots are 10. I really like the boots 1sicv8, I do! At first I wasn't used to shifting with them because the toe position are different then my Vans ,haha. I rode in them for about 45 mins just practicing like stop, 1st and 2nd gear over and over and I feel more comfortable in them, plus they were really affordable!!!
