New Husky Dealer in Fresno
Fresno and the surrounding area haven't had a Husky motorcycle dealership in I don't know how long.
Fresno BMW will be the new Husky Motorcycle Dealer at their new location in a few months. I talked with Keith in parts at the Fresno BMW Dealership today and he confirmed they will use the east half of their new Building as the showroom for the new Husky's. Tanner will be selling them and Steve in BMW Service will be servicing them. Husky makes a very nice dual sport called the TE610. There are a number of reviews about this bike on advrider.com and thumpertalk.com There are soft bags available for this bike, dirt bagz, and a larger fuel tank from IMS. This is one of the more high performance 600-650cc dual sports out there and give all of us just one more choice in bikes. Here is what the bike looks like: Check it out for yourself at: http://www.husqvarnausa.com

Gail:
Is the BMW dealership in Modesto also picking up Husky? I hope so.

Re: New Husky Dealer in Fresno
Jim, I visited the brand new BMW/Husky dealership in Fresno and it's very nice. About 3 or 4 times the size of the old place. At least as nice as any I've been to. Homer also mentioned that they will be selling a scooter line in addition to Husky and BMW. I guess BMW bought husqvarna and hence the shared dealerships.

Owners of the TE610 love the bike even though '07 models have a few issues with the air box and speedo. Don't know if the '08 models fixed these problems or not but the Husky web site mentions many changes to this model for '08.

Re: New Husky Dealer in Fresno
So, where's the new place? Are they migrating to a new building or keeping both places open? I think I remember something about a new building off Clovis avenue but I didn't know it actually happened.
Thanks,

Re: New Husky Dealer in Fresno
The new building is on Clovis Ave near either Shields or Olive. It's on the east side of clovis ave.

Re: New Husky Dealer in Fresno
Hmm...when I found out that BMW bought Husky I asked around and no dealership could give me a straight answer.
Now it's finally happened. Cool. I thought that 610 looked badazz. I haven't been to the new building yet but I hope things have gotten better. They treated me like crap when I tried to buy a bike there.

They'll be operating solely out of the new building.
