How to use this forum... Multi quote "help"

o.k.........I give up
I've scrolled & scrolled until my right wrist and index finger hurt and I'm cross-eyed

Is there a "how to" somewhere here that explains multi-quoting in simple terms and how it is correctly done ?? I see it done all the time and I see the button to hit - but I don't get it from there........

the more I read here & the more I learn....
the more I realize that I don't know............

Well this is my first time at doing it, but what I did was hit the box next to the "Quote" box. It's the one with the " in it. I then hit the "Quote" box on the next one so I could actually start typing my response. So if you want to quote more then one, you hit the box with " in it for each one, then hit the "Quote" box on the last one you want to quote!!

Did that make since??

Re: How to use this forum... Posting pics & other things

Bruce, ubb language is relatively easy to pick up and learn. A vast majority of forums out there use the vBulletin program to facilitate our ability to converse like this.

ubb is no different than html, but the bracket [ ] are used to open and close the command telling the program what to do.

[qoute] is the command that tells the program to make it a quote. [/qoute] (purposely spelling it wrong so you can see what I'm doing.) Use the / to sell the program to close out your command.

Same goes for images. Use the [IMG] tag to open and close your url address.

web addresses are open and closed with [url] then then close it with a / slash inside the bracket.

You can even do [html] which the program will ignore the html commands and just print out the actual code. Like this:

HTML Code:
  <tr>
    <td width="48%"><div align="center"></div></td>
    <td width="4%"><div align="center"><img src="../backgrounds/gifs/vert_line_9_33.gif" width="9" height="330"></div></td>
    <td width="48%"><img src="../pics/products/onguard/5051-3T_375.jpg" width="375" height="330">
      <div align="center"></div></td>
  </tr>
Make sense?
