NRA chopper - Century International Arms builds a chopper

I'm...............speechless.(and that don't happen to often)

http://www.centuryarms.com/nrapressrelease.html

Delray Beach, Florida (April 29, 2005)

Century International Arms, Inc. headquarters, is proud to announce it was the winner of the custom made NRA Second Amendment Chopper at the recent NRA Annual Meeting and Convention held in Houston, Texas April 15 - 17th.

After announcing the winning bid at the fund raising auction, the Chairman of Century International Arms, stated "This Chopper is a symbol of a commitment that Century and the National Rifle Association have in preserving the Second Amendment of our Constitution, which gives us the freedom to bear arms, and especially its relevance to sport shooters, hunters and collectors. A huge debt is owed to the NRA by millions of proud Americans."

The Chopper was manufactured and donated to the NRA by the famous Big Daddy Choppers of Ripley, Tennessee. The Chopper was designed with freedom, patriotism, the Second Amendment and the National Rifle Association in mind. The red, white & blue paint scheme symbolizes the colors of our great nation. Right out in front is the eagle, our national symbol, and also "Eddie Eagle" the youth mascot of the NRA. Wrapping around the oil tank are the proud words of the Second Amendment emblazoned in 23 karat gold leaf. The NRA logo can be found throughout the bike; on the fuel tank, embroidered onto the seat and engraved in the wheels. Big Daddy Choppers custom fabricated many types of firearms components to be functional parts of the bike. Handguns were machined from solid steel and chrome plated for use as handlebar risers. The handgrips and foot pegs were turned from solid copper and brass to resemble cartridges. A left handed sniper rifle was fabricated from aluminum and painted with wood grain for the shifter connector rod. The exhaust system is designed to resemble a double barreled shotgun, complete with a brass bead sight. In addition to the NRA logos in the wheels there are lever action rifles for the spokes. Many other custom details can be found on the chopper as well, such as a shotgun shell for the choke knob and scope crosshairs on the rearview mirror.

All the proceeds from the purchase of the NRA Second Amendment Chopper are donated to the NRA foundation.

Century International Arms, Inc. is North America's largest importer of surplus firearms and ammunition. Century's mission is to provide the American shooting enthusiast and collector with historical firearms, ammunition and accessories from around the world at affordable prices. For more information on Century International Arms, Inc. products, visit their website at http://www.centuryarms.com.

Additional photos and details about the NRA Second Amendment Chopper can be found at www.BigDaddyChoppers.com.

The Chopper can be seen in various Century International Arms, Inc. advertising, industry shows, and will be showcased in it's booth at the upcoming 2006 S.H.O.T. Show in Las Vegas, NV from February 9 - 12, 2006.

It looks like a 1911 frame. Couldn't be more specific without close-ups. Doubt the NRA is gonna' let her hold a piece of Swiss armor in the Good-'Ole US of A.
