Typing Computer Dr-z

I was at the dealer spending my mortgauge money, and was talking as usual. One of the workers, that has a DR-Z, said they had one come through a couple of weeks ago. The guy had started in South America and was headed to Alalska with 26,000 miles on the bike. At this point the guy had no problems with his bike and the only thing he had done to it was change the oil. He had not had a valve adjustment, or even changed the spark plug. After getting his oil changed he headed north. If any of you are looking at a dirt worthy dual sport that will hold up. I can recommend the DR-Z.
It's the journey, not the destination.

Also (especially if you're carrying some weight) a DR650 or KLR650 are great choices. DRZ's are great if you're doing mostly offroad, but if highways are in your picture, then the plusher suspension, greater GVW and MUCH better range of the KLR/DR are your best bet. Here is a link to a man who has VAST experience with the DRZ and a KLR:

Ride safe, ride often.
