Coming Back Again!

Hello everybody. After another lengthy, but hopefully final, round of complications due to last summers get-off I am back on the "Frankenbeemer" commuting everyday. She still has some healing to do as well, but her heart is strong.

Anyway, people keep asking me, "why do you keep riding?" No one on this forum would ask that of course, but I think the above picture just about sums it up!

Snapped yesterday just before work (ugh) It was almost unbearable to spend the day in the office knowing "that" was out there.

Glad to see everybody and hope to be around a lot more now.

Take Care.

Cameron

Hey Cameron (great name btw, its my brothers as well),

I searched out and read your whole story after I saw this post. Great to see you riding again after such an ordeal!

Also, I want to give a shout out to your wife, you have a great partner in life. She is a real trooper.

Well, it's a Pan European, the ST1300 equivalent in Europe... After having been on standards & sportsbikes in the past, I find my present ride to be the most enjoyable & comfortable whether for daily commutes or very long jaunts, as done recently on a 3-day 1,350-km Luzon loop to the northern tip & back.

Road & riding conditions here are pretty good & interesting with very undisciplined drivers to keep you alert all of the time... And with the ferry service in the south, one can pretty much travel all over the country.
