Cool it won't be if you are going anytime soon. Maybe see if you can find a place in Idyllwild up the mountain from Hemet? Much cooler.

SV,

girlfriend may be hot, but Hemet is pure hell in summer. Try this in Idyllwild, which will be 25 degrees cooler at night and 15 in the day. And it's ony 17-20 miles up the hill from Hell-met (I once did it in 17 minutes):

This place is cute, funky, and a great lady who runs it. If you are not allergic to cats, ask for the cat room, which is very private, cozy and romantic, as well as reasonable. There is a neighborhood cat that visits there, and if it likes you, it will spend the night, but beware it is OVERLY affectionate. Girlfriend will think it's cute and you weren't going to sleep anyway. Right?

For breakfast you must eat at Oma's bakery. It's the law.

Have a good time.

What about in the Lake Elsinore area? Anything worthwhile there to eat?

Not as far as I know. A friend who lives in Canyon Lake complains all the time about the lack of a good places to eat in Elsinore.
Temecula is very upscale and has good places to eat, but I can't recommend any.
