BackRoads California - A Pashnit Tour of goaty proportions!

Then Bottle Rock Rd (not a single car!), Hwy 175 through Cobb & Hobergs, and over on Loch Lomand Rd. Destination Big Canyon Rd. BackRoads California wasn't over yet.

When we got there, we discovered this little warning.




Hey, it was the BackRoads California Tour. How bad could it be?

I see now why they didn't want any vehicles on this road. We could park inside some of the pot holes.

Conducting a BackRoads Tour has been an idea floating around for awhile, and despite the sun, rain, cold, snow, wet, potholes, and bumps- we all had a great time, as always. Good people, good food, great roads!

We'll run this tour one more time in 2008 - June 27th, last weekend in June. The rain will have long gone for the season!

Great tour and great pics (as usual!). That's a tour I would like to try, it really gets you off the beaten path!

i have to say the pictures you took will held it's own value in a photography website, they are absolutely awesome both in scenery as well as quality in camera settings and framing. congrats.

Thanks Tyler, makes a good screensaver. Shots like this are really rare for me as I rarely ride at night anymore. Just one of those moments in time.

Hey Tim that's not a screensaver it's a background -- a screensaver is what you made on that CD with all of the fantastic photos

Just had to wipe up the stuff good thing it didn't get on the keyboard -- what a adventure this turned out to be -- great write up and photos Tim!!
