Yosemite DS Adventure Ride May 4th!

Yosemite DS ride Sunday May4th!

While everyone was having fun in Big Sur this weekend, I managed to sneak out on a scouting mission up to Yosemite on Monday for ride with my friend John.

The goal was to see if we could make it to Trumbull Peak. Some of the North facing slopes had small patches of snow. We also found a downed tree that took some creative negotiating! Just enough stuff to keep things adventuresome.

Meet in Coulterville at the park at 10:00AM. Ride time 10:30AM

This will be a fun easy ride with a few very mildly challenging sections.

I wish I had known about this sooner. Yesterday morning I submitted my availability to teach on May 3 and May 4. So Gail, how challenging is the road?

Jim you wouldn't have any problems making it to Trumbull Peak.

All my rides are on Sunday Eric!

The only obstacle to speak of is a downed tree. My firend John's GS is Adventure height and made it under no problemo.

I am getting ready to post a summer schedule Adventure Rides I am leading from Cycle Specialties BMW. You guys can count on at least one organized ride a month until August. I am putting together a campout ride for mid June too.

The campout will be Sunday/Monday so keep an eye out for the schedule if you need to rrequest a day off!

What time do you think we'll be back on Hwy 49? I have to work the next day so will break for the coast by 4pm to make it home before dark.
