The church in Marshall, CA is St. Helen's.

Thank you for the pics. I will be going on this ride next week Aug 17, 2012. Not sure if my bike will make it without fuel. I have a small tank less than 4 gallons can get 140 miles if I maintain 70/75 mph. Question is do I need to bring gasoline containers?

Don't sweat the fuel stops Randy, we've done this tour many times through the years and fuel will be the last thing you'll need to worry about.
Stops are pre-planned at about the 100 mile range. |

Where do you stop between Red Bluff and Alton when you ride Highway 36? That's a little over 130 miles if I recall correctly.

just saw this thread ... but rode the very same roads this July !
all the best ... enjoy the stories and pics ... but yes head on up 101 into Oregon for more of the same - and yet something new altogether ![]() and ... the best Clam Chowder in the world ... 5 or 6 times over ....
