Mines Road Whoops!

Came across this little yellow yamaha Sunday while heading towards the backside of Mt. Hamilton...the poor guy went through the bottom two strands of a 5-wire fence...then slid down a 12 foot drop off into the creekbed. There were no skid marks evident on the pavement preceding the corner but I'll bet that doesn't hold true for his shorts.

Thought maybe you went down Alan. Glad to see it wasn't you. That little yellow Yammy is just a dual sport wannabe.

Re: Mines Road Whoops!

Yeah, we passed by it also yesterday. We were headed southbound and stopped to see if anyone was hurt. We did notice a small skid mark northbound just before it went under the fence.

We talked to a couple of radio operators for the bike race ( they were just around the corner ) and they said it had been there all day and they hadn't seen anyone with the bike.

I hope that whoever it was that they are ok.

It's an MZ Skorpion. The guy rode home on the back of his buddy's CBX.

That looks like the same corner that we had a rider go down on last year, 3 broken ribs for him though.
