Re: My best ride yet!! Spring time in Washington State
Lots of great shots! Looks like the weather was good for your journey, though maybe a bit chilly going over North Cascades. BTW, since 20 is open, does that mean that 410 is open too? I lived up there for a long time, and love those roads.
It appears that the slide show is not exactly in chronological order, but maybe your routing is more imaginative than mine would have been.

Re: My best ride yet!! Spring time in Washington State
Yeah the weather was great. When i left seattle and went over Snoqualmie Pass Friday morning it was about 47 degrees. but as you know it only takes about forty minutes to get over the pass. Once i got to Roslyn it was already sixty degrees. and then quickly increased to about eighty for most of the day. I stayed in Grand Coulee that night.
Most of Saturday was around the eighty degree mark, except going over Sherman Pass(highest pass in Washington, 5,575ft). Not sure of the temp, probably around fifty and a few sprinkles here and there, but not bad. Stayed in Omak Saturday night. very warm. Raining sunday morning, but still warm. Heading over North Cascades got down to probably about forty-five, not bad. Actually 410 is still closed, but it looks like it's going to open this thursday. The pictures are in chronological order. Here is my route. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=e...5&ie=UTF8&z=10 |
