Too much wind
When i'm cruising around 80 mph, i'm facing too much wind, and sometimes it annoys so either i slow down or i just go down under the windshield, but it feels stupid to do that
. How can i deal with this issue?

Re: Too much wind
Something tells me building a windshield out of bubble gum is not a good idea.

Re: Too much wind
I don't know of any windshield that will completely shield a rider at 80 MPH.

Re: Too much wind
i dont want something to completely shield me, it's impossible. anyway what im looking for, is something to lessen the wind effect cause i'm kinda being blown away off the bike. I only weigh 120 lbs so i struggle when i hit high cruising speeds.

Re: Too much wind
I get the same problem on my bike, especially if it's a real windy day... i'm not even comfortable going 50mph. today was a nice day to ride though

Re: Too much wind
Wait... really? What kind of helmet do you wear? I mean, I've got an ex250 and I flat out cannot relate. Might it be something to do with your gear or riding position?
The "upgrade" people are talking about would be something akin to a mondo-windshield like you see on big cruiser-type bikes; a big wall of plexi-glass that fits on the front of the bike. There's nothing foolish about tucking in to your bike at highway speeds. It improves fuel economy and as you noted reduces buffeting from wind. The only reason I don't do it more is that it's uncomfortable. |

Re: Too much wind
Karim,
Here is a place for you to start: http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/I_want_a_new_windscreen Not a lot out there for aftermarket Ninja 250R windscreens. This is an issue I also struggle with. Unfortunately, every "body" is different, and trial and error is usually the order of the day. |
