Columbia & Lincoln counties Georgia

Today I took a 95 mile ride around Columbia and Lincoln Counties in Georgia. I live in Columbia County so it wasn't a long trip to the start. I tooled up Columbia Road (Ga 232) west to William Few Parkway and hung a right onto William Few. William Few is a very twisty, err fun, road that is unfortunately heavily traveled and patrolled....so, a little fun is OK, but, don't push it. William Few dead ends intersecting Ga 104 (Washington Rd) which I took west to Jake Pollard Highway. Took a right here leading to the dam on Clark's Hill Lake.

From there proceeded to the Georgia side below the dam.




Then it was onto Lincolnton. I took Soap Creek Marina's road....very twisty, but very narrow.


smells provided by Columbia County's finest, for most of the trip.

All-in-all quite the nice trip. Found some very isolated places that were absent of people........but, there were other things there:
