a great day for a group ride
last weekend I went on the Colorado Beemers 100k ride out here and had a great time. The weather was perfect the whole day and a good showing of riders. below are a few shots my wife took from the pillions perspective that i thought i'd share.
the 100k is an all day ride through the Rockies, the theory is you do about 100,000ft in elevation change as you cross over all the passes on the route. This year we did Squaw, Loveland, Gore, RabbitEars, Muddy, Milner and Berthoud pass. 7:45AM at the top o Loveland Pass, loong day ahead.. the pine beetle has really been doing a number on the trees traffic jam curious elk same elk, different angle
