Lot of variety there James. You can want to photography riding, or just your bike?

Re: Most photogenic road in So Cal?

I just finished a 4day ride in SoCal and the 1st day I covered 604 miles from the Bay Area to Pomona. I think some of these roads are well w/in your long day ride from LA.
If these roads aren't photogenic, they were certainly scenic.

This one is a couple miles north of Neptunes Net.

This road is between I-5 and Hwy 33 and between Maricopa and Ojai.

This one is not in the SoCal map, more Central Cal but south to me.

All the Malibu Canyon roads have great photo opportunities like this one:

I had a blast riding these roads and you can just about stop around every corner and take a great picture.

Gotta write my ride report about this trip........

Re: Most photogenic road in So Cal?

To me the beauty is that there is not one. Maybe a top 100 or so. Ortega, PCH anywhere, Palms to Pines, Jacumba to Monterey, Big Bear, almost any road between LA and SF except 5, unless one is in a big big hurry.
I am looking for a nice night mountain ride, but I am going to wait for more moon light, as that may help visibility a lot.
I know Ortega is closed 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. til further notice.
Maybe a night ride west from Rancho Mirage (not 10).
What about Palomar at the super sss's. I think it is big with the San Diego people, but I don't see it as fun as I am not a knee scraper.

The most photogenic road in California has to be the Tioga Pass, bar none!!
