Gas Stations on Hwy 1 Central Coast?
Im planning on making a little trip down to San Luis Obispo in the next two weeks. The plan is to take Hwy 1 all the way down from the half moon bay area. The only problem is my gas range is very limited. For some reason, I run out of fuel after going around 80-90 miles, depending on the type of riding i do.
Are there gas stations along the way? Im only worried once i pass the monterey, carmel area. Jordan |

Yup, there are several places. They're pricey but better than breaking down along the way! There's gas in Big Sur, Gorda, and at Ragged Point as a last ditch effort. Cambria is about 80 miles from Monterey so if you gas up there (last gas station is at Rio Rd. and 1, Chevron), you might be able to make it all the way down to Cambria.

Definitely gas at Morro Bay, several in fact. Course, thats almost all the way to SLO, but...no question there's gas in that town.

Re: Gas Stations on Hwy 1 Central Coast?
Thanks for the replies everyone! I'll probably make the trip in the next week or so. I still want to purchase a sportbike camera mount. Just got new tires on the bike, and i'm going to get a new chain and sprocket kit soon!

Not sure if this is what you want ... go to the bottom of the page to see the mounts.
