Next day... The Tioga Lodge along the shores of Mono Lake has become a favorite. Cabins, and restaurant on site.

First went to take a look at Virginia Lake, a high alpine lake above 8000 feet. Small, but quite picturesque.

So we ceremoniously added a Pashnit sticker to John's hard bag. Seems he was familiar with the Pashnit CA Moto Roads site and had used it to plan portions of their 3 month plus ride.
