I'm as pashnit about riding as anyone, but I have to admit that when I walk outside and it's 108° (as it has been for days), I look long and hard at my air conditioned car.

If I can ride in 108°, then you can.

Yea Sean...we all did it to the Pashnit Gathering and back. Although, I wimped-out on Monday 'cause I couldn't face another day in the 100's. It turned out to be only 97 yesterday, so I'm back riding today.

That's 30 minutes tops Sean. Soak your bandanna 'fore you leave werk and you should still be feeling fresh and pretty by the time you reach home.

How could one not ride their bike on bike day I'll probably need my Widder electric vest out here in the cool Monterey coastal morning. There must be a happy temp medium somewhere between the Monterey Bay and Hollister, CA The summer marine cloud deck and fog has set in here. Brrrr...

I'll be riding, 178 miles round trip. National Weather Service shows it only going to reach 101 tomorrow.
