I use an older Starcom-1 mostly to keep up with the Radar Rangers and to play music from my extremely old school Sony Mini Disk. It has a wired remote that is velcroed to the top of my left hand switch gear, and the unit resides in my tank bag. Been using it for years, great sound quality, and the volume can be controlled from the Starcom or the Mini Disk. Put the Mini in random playback, set it and forget it. Radar overrides the music, so plenty of warning to make sure I am complying scrupulously with the speed laws....
