Need advice

Need advice on places to camp up by Edison lake. My best friend from college is getting married on Aug. 1st. We are planing a ride pre or post bachelor party in late July in the upper sequoias. Any advice in this area to stay/camp? I'm hoping to have some other guys tag along with a truck to haul our camping gear & tents up into the hills. Hopefully someone on here has some suggestions.

Mono Hot Springs!

Everything you need and 8 miles from Edison.

Campground, Store, Rustic Cabins, Food, Bar & Hot Springs.

If you haven't rinned in on a MC, the road is steep, twist, very narrow, very bumpy but very very scenic.

What more can you ask for!

Re: Need advice

There are also some very nice alpine lakes within a short walk. In july they will be warm enough for swimming. It would not be a bad idea to make reservations for a camp spot. I have only been there once, and that was to observe a meteor shower. The night sky has no light pollution, and the stars are amazing.
