Looking for womens perforated leather pants

Where can I find perforated leather pants, with armour?
Who makes/sells?
Something with a store in the Los Angeles area would be fabulous but I'll take any help I can get.

Re: Looking for womens perforated leather pants

Try Motorcyclesuperstore.com first then go to your local cycle shop and see if they can order them or just order them online. They are really helpful with sizes and such. We got the majority of our gear through them and have had good luck with most of it. I am not sure if they have preforated leather pants, but they have track pants and other riding pants. I have textile pants with armor that are ventilated. Getting the leather track pants later on. Theres also other places like Bike Bandit and Cycle Gear too.

I'm looking for women in preforated leather pants too. The bigger the perforations the better!

Buy some "made in China" cheap stuff, toss the SV for distance and you'll have perforations everywhere the stitching pulled out......

I think there's a moral here somewhere... Oh yeah, you get what you pay for, don't skimp on gear. DAMHIK

Re: Looking for womens perforated leather pants

Ron is dead on about spending some money. Also be aware that perforated leather will not give near the cooling effect of mesh. I wear leather pants with a textile vented jacket because I would fry in all leathers (anyone remember the Death Valley ride last August!).

Riding in hot weather was always miserable for me until I discovered the perf'd gear made by Vanson. Perhaps this is worth a look... not cheap, but I don't think anything else is better made! For me, Vanson's apparel is good value, and that's what I look for in riding gear. Good luck in your search...

Re: Looking for womens perforated leather pants

Thumbs up for New Enough...they have reviews and photos on all the gear they sell, and also have great customer service in case you need to return or exchange.

I was just at Chaparral last week looking for leather gear, and I didn't find much in the way of men's leather pants. The person I talked to in the apparel section said they don't normally stock a whole lot of leather pants (a whole lotta leather jackets though), so even though you are looking for women's pants I suggest you call to see what they have in the store before making the drive.

Thanks rider. It's looking like I'm gonna have to go Vanson or BMW, since most gear manufacturers seem to think that women don't need gear much less any kind of selection.
