Yeah... there is a trail off the property that is about 100 feeet from a trail that lets you ride to the Pipi riding area which does connect (I believe) with the Gold Note via Elkins Flat area.

I hope to make it up for Friday eve and Saturday, departing Saturday.
Got plans for Sunday so need to do the unusual.. depart Sopiago before the weekend is over.

CALLING ALL DUALSPORT RIDERS

Slider here with a quick note,

We will once again be having a dualsport ride Saturday morning. This fall our ride will be geared twards riders on larger displacement dualsport motorbikes.

We will cover a variety of terrain (to keeps things interesting) however single lane slightly paved roads

will play a role due to recent rains. Our ride will head north, not on N/S road, and likely beyond hwy 50. Bail out routes for the "not so inclined" will be provided as required. Soooo bring those sleds and lets ride!

...and you will have great trail conditions, no dust and most of the puddles have drained away. I have some freebie maps available for all of the local OHV areas which remain open but are lightly used of late...

The Bandit truckster is (almost) fully loaded and fueled. I gotta work tonight in about a hour till 2 AM. THen after a few hours sleep, I'll do the final load out and hit the road. Still trying to make up my mind if I wanna ride around Tahoe or thru Reno. I'm leaning towards going thru Reno just because I expect a good deal of debris on 89 around Tahoe, and there is some road construction both north and south of Truckee. Either way, I figure I should be rolling on somewhere between 3 and 4 tomorrow afternoon.

I am so bummed, I can't go!

I was really looking forward to meeting everybody in person and doing the dual sport ride.

I hope you all have a good time, and please take a lot of pictures!

Got a text from hubby just a bit ago, he is there and I hope getting warm... you all have a great time, maybe the girls and I will come in May when it's not so cold

Sarah & I are preparing all the food right now.

Salad & also night fruit salad too.

Lots of food!

It was almost 80 today - great weather!!
