The big Island is nice. My wife and I did about 1000 miles in the rental car in the 2 weeks we were there. Riding would get boring over there after a while (I'm a long distance rider).
We saw this chick's bike at the Hilo HD shop  Definitely one BEAUTIFUL place  The only place I know that you can go from sea level to 13000 ft in just a few hours.

Aloha Jimmy,
I was standing on the beach at the old airport in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. I recently decided to get back into film photography after 35yrs and was taking photos with a new (to me) $40 Minolta xg-a. Also a few black and white with a kodak six-20 bullseye. As it always happens, I didn't bring extra film and ran out before sunset so this photo was taken with my iphone.  here is another Choke

Interestingly enough, after talking with a friend who lives about 14 miles north, that little rain squall visible in this photo completely obscured their view of the horizon. Translation...."the sun set into the clouds here." These photos were taken tonight, by the way. aloha Jack
