Yosh Muffler Repacking
Without buying the repack kit from Yoshimura, where can I get and what is a good packing to use for Bolt-on RS3 Ovals?

Re: Yosh Muffler Repacking
A good inexpensive alternate can be found at any motorcycle shop that specializes in dirtbikes. They use the same type of muffler packing as a street bike would. You should be able to find the good ones that include a metal mesh or steel wool as the first wrap layer. This style will last longer than the a fiberglass type and have about the same amount of noise suppression. The other bit is going to your local hardware store and finding the correct diameter aluminum blind rivets. The "OEM" packing kits will have a rivet that is closed at the end but I have not found a problem with the regular blind rivet as the pulling stem closes off the inside hole adequatly.
