Purple Mountain Majesty...missed

Following an extended rainy spring, the HWY 223 and Tehachapi/Woodford Roads have been colored purple with an outstanding bloom of "farewell To Spring."

Unfortunately, due to a surgery complication, I was banned from all outside activity for the past three weeks...and it now looks like I have another two to three weeks of involuntary rest.

I was just wondering,...has anyone taken bike pictures with the late spring floral background?
