Shameless Plug for Katrina Relief Sponsors!

Those of you who have been active on the forums in the last couple of weeks are aware of the Pashnit Hurricane Relief Rally we've been organizing, taking place this Sunday, September 18.

We have more than 30 riders signed up to participate in the ride, for which I am very appreciative! (You know who you are...

) The overwhelming majority of members here will not be riding in the Relief Rally this Sunday. But we really could use your support regardless.

Around one million people have been displaced as a result of Hurricane Katrina. Many, many people have lost everything. This is, without question, the biggest natural disaster the United States has ever seen. In the tradition of helping each other to make the U.S. the great country it is, would you please consider donating to the Relief Rally as a sponsor?

Contributing is easy. Go to the sponsor sign-up page and enter the basic info. If you just want to support the ride, you don't have to note a specific Relief Rally participant to sponsor, simply enter "Pashnit" as the sponsored rider. You can make a donation to the AmeriCares Katrina Relief fund once you submit your sponsorship info. IMPORTANT: PLEASE REMEMBER to type in "Pashnit" in the Additional Comments field of the AmeriCares donation page so we can report on the total amount donated after the Rally. Sponsor sign-up: http://pashnitforum.com/forum/sponsor.php. All online sponsors will receive immediate email acknowledgement for tax purposes as well as a receipt by mail.

You can donate as little as $5 via the online form. We aren't tracking individual donations, so please just donate what you can afford.
