Next day, we ride up Santa Rosa Creek Rd, down Rossi's Driveway and across the Central Valley to the Sierra Nevada Mountains

If you look closely, you can see a thin line at center.

That's Sherman Pass as it climbs out of the Kern River Valley and heads towards Nevada. And you thought you've ridden every road.

Here it drops out the Sierra Nevada practically straight down.

Day 3 begins with an early start to beat the traffic into Sequoia National Park.

It works great and we encounter few other traffic for the entire hour of twisty road-riding it takes to get to the top of the mountain.
