Well my new job is going great but outside events are conspiring against me. With a total staff of only 5 and they want to be able to give some Saturdays off, the boss decided to go to a every other weekend you have to work on Saturday
 . My first Saturday I have to work is the 16th . Since we have a football game Friday night, and I have to be at work by 8AM the next morning and won't get out of the store till 5PM it seems that I will have to be a no show at this years fall gathering. cry:Ya'll are gonna have to take lots of pics for me and hoist a beer or two for me whilst you're there. I'll make sure I have a couple Saturday night while I'm thinking of all the good times everyone will be having. Hopefully I'll be able to get some time to make it to the next gathering, depending on when it is. I know we are planning a big family trip back east sometime next summer and I already told my boss about it before I was hired. I'm going on that trip even if I have to take an unpaid leave of absence to do it. Ray

Had some rain yesterday and overnight and the trails will be damp, no dust! Woot! So we will have some great riding on the dirt and street for this Fall Gathering...got some new things to share here at SSR, looking forward to seeing those who can make it...

Dang it Mark I really wish I could make it. I had the ride down planned, the stuff I wanted to pack in which saddle bag figured out, I even budgeted for a fresh bottle of Jim Beam Black. Guess I'll just have to sit at home Saturday night and sip a few while thinking of all the friends and good times I'll be missing.
Hopefully we'll be able to catch up in the spring. Ray
