Been doing that shift all summer for the past 2 yrs. It SUCKS but work is work!

The lawn is out, no more holes allowed...so off the back end of the lawn at the edge of the dirt area; or to the south side of the stage area kind of behind it a bit near where John/MotoRyder camps...either is safe and won't mess with the lawn. We can figure out the rest when you get here...

Maybe there or the dirt area on the other end of the lawn in front of the stage? Where most of the tent campers set up. Farther away from trees and can be set closer to the lawn without punching holes in it.

Well, it is strange how things happen. Had a ride planned with a friend for months this weekend. Yesterday hsi bike wouldn't start ... today while he was at work he got robbed ... all his wife's jewelry and his gun collection got stolen. Needless to say, he is not much in the mood for a ride right now. So it looks like I may be able to head that way. No offense to all yall, but I wish that our ride had not gotten concelled like this.

So I need to change my routes and plans a bit, but I think I can attend Saturdays BBQ and probably toss a tent on the ground for the evening as well. I just need to be pointed in the right direction at one point or another.

See Mark, you do get to see my smiling face after all.

The real question is which bottle of scotch do I bring to this suarey. I dunno if you guys can handle (or deserve) the good stuff.

I will look on maps to make sure I know where this place be at and see ya all there.

Camping under the trees to Stage Right is not recommended if you plan on turning early on Saturday night....DAMHIK

I tried like crazy to have the bike ready in time.

I'm going to be a week too late.

A petcock problem is causing the bike to die every few minutes due to flooding, and I won't be able to fix it before Thursday night. It has to be inspected at the DMV (Arizona bike) and the DMV's are closed on Friday's through the end of the month.

I really wanted to make this gathering, especially if the format goes to a single summer event. I can't believe I've been back in Sacramento over a year now and *still* haven't made a gathering since.

No reason not to make the next one though....whenever it occurs.
