I'm going to be a week too late.

A petcock problem is causing the bike to die every few minutes due to flooding, and I won't be able to fix it before Thursday night. It has to be inspected at the DMV (Arizona bike) and the DMV's are closed on Friday's through the end of the month.

I really wanted to make this gathering, especially if the format goes to a single summer event. I can't believe I've been back in Sacramento over a year now and *still* haven't made a gathering since.

No reason not to make the next one though....whenever it occurs.

There is no rule about "motorcycle required for admission".
In fact... Tim (Pashnit) has "always" driven up for the gatherings. Of course, he is packing the food and farkle items with him.

You can/could drive on up (assuming you have a 4 wheeled vehicle).

I will have enough tequila and mixers for a few pitchers.
If anyone else would like a to contribute a few pitchers please bring your favorite (mixing) tequila and appropriate mixers. I use Milagro silver, Patron Citronge, agave nectar & Sweet & Sour mix.
Since the blender uses ice that may be necessary too... by Saturday.

Note:
The blender can be used for other alcholoic and non-aloholic beverages.

This will be my first gathering. I am leaving Burney at sunrise Friday morning. I plan to ride down Hwy 89, all the way to Hwy 88 and then down to the springs. Mapquest says it will take 8 hours, so I want an early start so hopefully I will arrive before it gets dark. Really looking forward to seeing the gang.
