Little over night trip with the Bakersfield BMW Motorcycle Club. Had a great time. Check out the RR here www.jafosadventures.com

Very nice job Matt !!
Love the layout on your website too

Wildrose is a kick-in-the-pants isn't it ??
The first time I rode it was in rapidly dwindling twilight going from east to west...

I had a blast on Wildrose! I can not wait untill I have 3 or 4 days to spend there! I never thought I would like going to Death Valley. The Dry Heat ride changed my mind and this ride has made my mouth water even more!

After going to DV twice (November & April) I think 7 days would be a better choice...especially on a DS
I picked up a Nat'l Geographic Map of DV at REI and it shows a boat-load of trails that would keep you/me entertained for a week.

Now, tell me why I moved to Seattle again ??

You moved to Seattle because you got tired of tasting the air you breath! It is only a 14 hour ride from your house to mine. When we going to DV?

Great! Another Pashnite went all uppity and high-class and got himself his own moto-blog. I bet you'd look down you nose at me if you were taller!

Great ride report and I also really like your website! Have you had it up long?

Bruce, what is this map you speak of? I may have to see if I can get a hold of one!

I found it at my (used to be) local REI - you can probably find it on their website as well.
A laminated, fold-out map of the DV area by National Geographic - a little pricey but VERY detailed

in my younger days, that would have been taken as a challenge...

Re: Death Valley 10/22/10

MatthewP I would never look down my nose at you!!! I have only had it up a week or so that is why there is only two RR on it so far. It is easier to post RR on it than here or other sites.

Turkus you are only as old as you let yourself be!

So where are the pics of the charcoal kilns/ If you did not get to the kilns, then you have to go do Wildrose Rd again till you get to the charcoal kilns.
