Re: 2010 Riding the World...

Great Video. I especially like your choice of Music. That song was dedicated to Gabby Pahinui an Icon in Hawaiian Music. I had the pleasure to have met both of these musicians in their brief life times. I have also worked with Gabby's son Martin(Grandpa) here on Maui as he played the music as I danced the hula. There is more to these stories but another time.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I can't wait to see what is in store for us this coming 2011 from you.
A Hui Ho (until we meet again)

Re: 2010 Riding the World...

So this is what it's all about to me:

That these ride reports inspire readers to plan and DO their own rides - for your own sake and for your own dreams. It is not important whether you are as good as Donna is as far as taking photos or writing about it, but that you do your own ride for YOU. Because it is your dream.

If you post up, then show what caught your eye or impressed you - scenery, food, places to stay, roadside attractions, whatever - share what inspired you. Pay it forward. As JO (owrstrich) says, "If it wasn't for pashnit.com I'd be at the split of the 99 and the 5 wondering which was the better ride." OK I paraphrased. But you get the point.

Which reminds me.... I have some ride experiences of my own that I need to compose and post up.

Thanks Nate! Nope, i can fake it with a phrase book, but foreign languages are my downfall. I do try to get the most out of each day after all, it's what we get!!!

Well said Kris...everyone has their own vision, I was simply sharing mine. I hope that each of you enjoy the ride even 1/2 as much as me. Each ride is a dream fulfilled!!
