Someone chainsawed the jeruselam tree in England last year. It was a nearly 800 yrs old.

You can ride for quite a while and not see another vehicle or person on that road. Especaily at night, when you can see headlights for miles away, it would be easy to cut down the tree and not be seen.

Why ? Why would you hack down the shoe tree?
I loved seeing the shoe tree, on the way from Colorado Springs to Sacramento it always let me know I was getting close to Fallon and Reno.
What good reason was there?
