Wonderful RR, Suzi! Fun to read and to see the sights. The mummified animals crack me up as every place has at least one. Sort of like the ubiquitous Jackalope!

The roads looked wonderful and it didn't look that cold so the appearance is misleading! Love the desert for that reason, as at least there is usually some sunshine.

You and the bike look great together. Get that handlebar situation ironed out and it sound like you'll have it made!

Great pics and story!! Enjoyed the pics of the cave and then when I saw Bob and the Sloth I realized I'd been in that cave.... I think it was when the wife and I traveled down to the Grand Canyon and took a side road just to see it???

It was warm on the way home when we stopped! It was the wind mainly
that made it so chilly! But the sunshine was awesome and felt nice by the middle of the afternoon.

Going to get those handlebars before I come up there for a week long ride.
If I don't, I'll look like a crippled old lady bent over in a permenent curve!!

It's getting warmer now. Yesterday's high temp was 48F. Lows are still dropping into the mid 30's, with snow in the coast range passes. Forecast this week is for several fronts to come onshore . . . warm, cold, and occluded -- all featuring ample moisture and predicted precipitation.

I may just load the bike into a trailer and drive south, east . . . We're thinking Nevada.

It's good to know that it dries out, clears, warms up if you head south, east. Helmet hair don't scare me none, lady . . .

Thanks Jack! You probably were at the same place! If you went down Route 66 past Peach Springs, then you were there!

As usual, excellent RR! The weather this week is looking good, I went to Mesquite yesterday, and plan to go somewhere today. I have a conference to attend next month in Laughlin, and it is at the Aquarius. It seems as if you liked it OK? I've stayed in some Laughlin motels in years past that were not nice places to stay.

Hopefully see you guys on the road soon!
