Re: Diehards. The BackROADS California Pashnit Tour
The 3BR USB port powers the Droid.
When it's not raining, the setup looks like this. http://www.pashnit.com/product/3br/3...p_usb.html#top These are the all new AdaptivMounts. Full line to fit just about any bike. Double ball jointed lets you put it into any position or angle. Use a 1-1/4 socket to remove the steering head nut and replace with this. I kept things simple and just velcro to attach the droid. The velcro provides a second vibration barrier to protect your device or smartphone. http://www.pashnit.com/product/adapt...html#sportbike And yes, the connection is waterproof. So think about it: You've got unlimited music (yes, Pandora!!!), GPS, maps, internet, email, facebook, even a speedometer, altimeter, and any other ap you download. Too simple. Don't forget it's also a phone. |

Our lunch time view. In Jenner.
Rain, rain, rain. After riding through torrential hail. The cows seemed oblivious. On King Ridge. |

The bowels of the storm. We just rode through this.
King Ridge Rd - the very best goat trail in the coastal mountains. My Diehards. Any day on the bike is better than a day at the office. The new Pashnit Busa. |

Re: Diehards. The BackROADS California Pashnit Tour
After Stewarts Point Rd, we arrived at the Pacific Coast- to sun! Hints of blue sky. Sort of.
FP Tactical Levers http://www.pashnit.com/product/fptac...al_levers.html Everything was dirty. Flooding on the roads, slides, debris, and lots of tiny sticks and tree branches down. At one point, I looked back and Greg was trailing a tree branch stuck in the center stand of the F800. Uh Greg, ya got a tree branch comin' out of your bike there. |

Re: Diehards. The BackROADS California Pashnit Tour
Slowly setting up the new Pashnit Busa as the Ultimate Travelin' Machine.
One of the first mods was to toss the stock windscreen. Add a Zero Gravity Double Bubble is perfect for just enough airflow upwards (temps went down to 34 degrees on this ride) without changing the lines of the bike. Immensely popular, buy one here: http://www.pashnit.com/product/zero_gravity_db.html RKA Luggage provided their In-Charge Tankbag & the 50L Expandable Saddlebags. These are powered tankbags that you plug into your bike. I've got an SAE wire plumbed direct off the battery headed into the bag. Inside I can use any adapter to power or charge my camera, phone, GoPro HD or whatever gadget you've got. Purchase one here: http://www.pashnit.com/product/rka/tankbags.html |
